About the project
At Carefully Crafted, we are dedicated to bringing impactful visions to life through digital solutions. Our collaboration with ‘On Angels Wings’, underscores this mission by focusing on creating a heartfelt and functional online presence. ‘On Angels Wings’ is committed to commemorating lives through photography, and this project aimed to encapsulate this noble mission within a user-friendly, expandable WordPress website. Utilizing the latest tools, plugins, and modern design principles, we ensured that the website reflects the compassion and dedication of ‘On Angels Wings’.
From The Client
I first came across Carefully Crafted (Brad) at a nonprofit networking meeting where he was the guest speaker, teaching on AI. Many, in the nonprofit sector especially, are terrified of what AI can do, but Brad presented a thorough understanding and eased many minds on how they can utilize it to their advantage. It was the most thorough presentation I had seen, which impressed me to establish a connection with the company directly.
Maintaining that connection, when it became apparent to our board that we needed to update our website (for the first time since 2016), Carefully Crafted was our one and only choice for the project because of their ethics, integrity, knowledge, and talent. They prepared a thorough proposal for our organization to present to grant funders, and we were able to procure the funding for the redesign. Our team gave Carefully Crafted creative freedom on the design, providing the parameters of our logo, brand colors, and the message we wanted to convey about our work (also, that we didn’t want it to look like everyone else’s websites!). Our old website was also convoluted and difficult to navigate on the backend, so we were looking for ease of use moving forward.
Boy did they deliver!! We have been absolutely blown away by the results of our website redesign! They got the design spot-on right out of the gate, and even did enough research into our mission that we had to do very little revision to the written content. The backend process for updating content moving forward is leagues easier than our previous website — Carefully Crafted listened to our needs and addressed them with the first draft of the site structure. Minor adjustments here and there (in our own pickiness) were met with openness and rapid follow through. The process was timely, and they adhered to the integrity and value we saw in them from the beginning. We couldn’t be more impressed or excited about the end result!
