Programmatic Design

Programmatic graphic design is a method of creating graphics using code, rather than traditional methods.

What is programmatic design?

Rather than using common methods like pen and paper or Photoshop, programmatic graphic design is a method of creating graphics through code. This approach can be used to create anything from simple shapes and patterns to complex illustrations and animations.

Programmatic graphic design has a number of advantages over traditional methods. Perhaps most importantly, it allows for much more control and flexibility when creating graphics. For example, using code to create a graphic means that you can easily change its color, size, or shape without having to redraw the entire image from scratch.

This flexibility also makes programmatic graphic design ideal for creating responsive designs that look great on a variety of devices and screen sizes. And because the code used to create graphics can be reused, it’s also a very efficient way to work.
